New plan to get more international students to stay in Québec

Programme attraction Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International announced this week a new initiative geared toward Greater Montréal universities, colleges and vocational training centres to get as many young international students as possible to stay in Québec, particularly in Greater Montréal.

Universities: drivers of wealth creation for Québec and Montréal The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and Montréal International also released this week a study entitled The Contribution of Greater Montréal Universities to the Québec Economy, with Montréal Mayor Denis Coderre and representatives of Greater Montréal’s 11 universities. This study shows how Montréal universities have a huge positive impact on Québec’s economy. How local universities contribute to our prosperity?
